This course builds on the professional kitchen and larder catering skills learnt at Level 2 and develops the skills and knowledge needed to work as a chef in a professional kitchen. This qualification is designed to help you enter employment with a higher level of understanding and responsibility or to be able to start at a more prestigious establishment. As the Catering industry becomes ever more competitive, the advantage lies with those chefs who successfully attain both higher level qualifications and skills, alongside concrete industrial experience. The Level 3 Advanced Diploma will help to provide you with the skills and experience to progress your career and give you a competitive edge.

What you need to get on

You are likely to have previous experience and/or a relevant Level 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills/Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification. Students who do not have English and Math at grade C/4 or above will be required to study these alongside this qualification.
