This course offers an introduction into basic craft skills required to become a professional pastry chef. You will make a wide range of sweet and savoury items including; bread products, pastry products, hot and cold desserts as well as cakes and biscuits. This course is suitable for those wishing to have a career as a pastry chef, as well as enhancing their basic practical skills.

Level 1 qualification or two GCSEs at grade 3/D in maths or English Successful attendance at interview event
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
