Working as a plumber for a firm or starting up your own plumbing business is a great way to earn money, with good plumbers in high demand across the UK. The Level 2 Plumbing Study Programme teaches you the plumbing skills used in the industry, including installing copper, low carbon steel and plastic plumbing pipework systems, health and safety, environmental technologies, cold and hot water, central heating, sanitation systems, rainwater systems and plumbing science. Work experience in the plumbing industry ensures that you get the hands-on skills that you need to know when becoming a professional plumber. The construction industry is thriving with growing opportunities to work in a variety of settings. On completion of this course you can expect to gain an Apprenticeship or start work as an entry level plumber for a firm.

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
