If you are looking for a career change or to improve your prospects our Level 2 Plumbing Diploma (accredited by BPEC) can provide you with the essential knowledge you need to start your career as a plumber. You will study a wide range of skills to enable you to be effective in the industry. These include: Understand and apply domestic cold water system installation and maintenance techniques Understand and apply domestic hot water system installation and maintenance techniques Understand and apply domestic central heating system installation and maintenance techniques Understand and apply domestic above ground drainage system installation and maintenance techniques

What you need to get on

Minimum of four GCSEs at Grade 4 including English and Maths. Ensure you bring a recent school report to interview showing attendance, behaviour and predicted grades.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
