What the college says
This level is suitable for beginners who want to get into the Plumbing industry. After successful completion of this course you could go onto Level 3 Diploma in Plumbing Studies or find an Apprenticeship.
What you need to get on
You will require a minimum of 4 GCSEs including English and Maths grades 9-4 (formerly A*-C) and two other GCSEs Grades 9-3. Alternatively successful completion of a relevant Level 2 qualification and have achieved a Level 2 in English and Maths.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
