This course will give you the practical skills confidence and underpinning theoretical knowledge to kick start your career in the plumbing industry or prepare you for an apprenticeship. /p p As well as practical skills you will also learn how to promote yourself as a plumber and win jobs and contracts in domestic industrial and commercial plumbing. /p p In addition you will learn about the structure of the construction industry health and safety and site preparation. /p p The course includes work experience enrichment activities and project work to prepare you for a successful career as a professional plumber. /p

What you need to get on

In order to start this course at Level 2 you must have completed a Level 1 Plumbing Foundation or Diploma and have two GCSEs grade 9 2 (A* F) or equivalent.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
