What you need to get on

Four GCSEs grade 3 and above to include:* English Language* Performing Arts subject (preferable)* Foundation Certificate in a related subject. Merit or Distinction if taken.You must have an interest in all aspects of performing arts or related work. You must also be motivated, enthusiastic and able to work as a member of a team.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
