Summary of course This is a basic course, introducing the student to the skills required within the kitchen and restaurant areas of the hospitality industry. Students will learn and develop skills in many ways including skills sessions, theory classes and working the both the kitchen and restaurant of the Lane Brasserie. What will I study? The units you will study are likely to include: Core Units: •Health and safety and food safety •Team work and •Customer care

Four GCSEs at Grade 2 (E) or above or equivalent or completion of Foundation studies including FS English and Maths at Entry 3.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
