What the college says
The skills developed will help you to be able to offer an outstanding restaurant service. You will learn how to professionally work in a restaurant environment serve freshly prepared food and work as a barista. You will also gain valuable skills on customer care, working as part of a team and employability.
What you need to get on
English and Maths grade 4 and above is required for this qualification. A grade 3 in either English OR Maths will be considered. You will be required to take part in a practical skills scan that will help us determine your starting points. This may alter the level we place you on.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
