NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning This level 2 work-based qualification will enable you to build the knowledge and skills needed when supporting teaching and learning in a school environment. It covers a wide range of areas including children and young peoples development, supporting those with disabilities or special educational needs, communication and professional relationships. The qualification is assessed by being observed in the workplace and completing e-learning and written tasks. You need to working in a suitable role for a minimum of 7 hours per week. This course is delivered by Bedfordshire Employment & Skills Academy, part of Central Bedfordshire Council.

What you need to get on

You must be at least 19 years old and working or volunteering in key stage 1 or above, for a minimum of 7 hours per week.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
