What you need to get on

For those not currently employed in a school, securing a work placement at a primary or secondary school is necessary for a minimum of 6 hours a week but you can be supported to gain a placement via our friendly team within Volunteer Hartlepool. You also need to have an appropriate level of English and you will do an initial assessment as part of your enrolment.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
