Edexcel exam board. A Level Politics involves the study of three modules over two years. Students take three exams at the end of the course. Each module develops the skills of analysis, argument, scrutiny, similarity, difference and the use of sources. The modules are: 1) UK Politics and Core Politics Ideas Students answer three questions in a 2 hour exam. 2) UK Government and Non-core Political Ideas Students answer three questions and in a 2 hour exam. 3) Comparative Politics - USA Students answer four questions in a 3 hour exam.

What you need to get on

Minimum of 5 9 - 4 grades at GCSE including a C in English.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
