Government and Politics gives students the opportunity to study a broad range of contemporary issues in both UK and US politics. Students will study the theoretical framework behind the actions of governments and apply that knowledge to developing political situations. Government and Politics is any excellent course to study if you have an interest in current affairs and the course will enable you to sharpen your own political views. You will also be equipped with a range of skills essential for study at higher education.

What you need to get on

- You will need five GCSEs at grades 9-4. - Including English Literature or Language at grade 9-5. - If you have missed a grade 4 in Maths by one grade it may be possible to re-sit GCSE maths in your first year.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
