Government and Politics is a superb A-Level that can show us just how great an influence politics has on us. Indeed, recent events have destroyed the illusion that we are disconnected from it. In the past four years we have seen the Scottish Independence referendum, the Brexit Referendum, the American Presidential Election and three General elections in 2015, 2017 and December 2019.

What you need to get on

Grade 6 in either History or Sociology. If History or Sociology not taken, a grade 6 in English Literature is required.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
