Who has it Who wants it How do politicians try to hold on to it and how can we ensure its fairly distributed The Politics A Level course builds towards answering big questions like how democratic is Britain today, why do people vote the way they do, is the system in the US still fit for purpose and are humans fundamentally self-interested We not only look at the political systems in the UK and US, but also the big political ideas that underpin politics today; liberalism, socialism, conservatism and feminism. Politics affects all aspects of our lives, never more so than the last two years, and this is a fascinating course examining contemporary issues and is perfect for students with a keen interest in ideas, current affairs and the world around them.
