You should take this course if you have an interest in current affairs and would like to broaden your understanding of the political process. This course suits students who are interested in debate and who would like to strengthen and develop their understanding of both the UK and USA’s political system by analysing the effectiveness of the processes in place.

What you need to get on

At least 5 GCSEs graded 9-5 including English at grade 4 above. A keen interest in Politics is important as you will be required to stay versed in current affairs.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
