What the college says

This course develops students enjoyment, knowledge and understanding of Chemistry. It provides opportunities for students to visit and conduct experiments in university laboratories. It builds on the concepts of How Science Works that were introduced in the GCSE course.

What you need to get on

Both internal and external pupils wishing to enter the sixth form will be expected to have met the same minimum academic entry requirements for the sixth form. This is a minimum of 3 GCSE grade 4s and grade 4 in English AND Maths. This course additionally requires grade 5 in English, grade 6 in Maths and grade 7-6 in Trilogy Science or Grade 7 in Chemistry and one other science. Please note, we may adjust our offer each year.
