n this course students will explore the nature of politics and how people engage in the political process in the UK; including the study of democracy and participation, political parties, electoral systems and voting behaviour and the media. The course also covers three core political idea of liberalism, conservatism and socialism. The first year will focus on UK Government and Politics, whilst the second year will look at different international political systems and Global Politics.
