Chemistry is the study of matter and its changes. This includes everything in the universe from a simple hydrogen atom to very large replicating molecules involved in life processes. It is involved with everything from the development of medicines, food and consumer products, through to the protection and cleanup of our environment.

What you need to get on

You will have achieved at least Grade 7 in GCSE Chemistry (triple science) or 7,7 in Combined Science (Higher Tier) You will need a minimum of a grade 6 in Maths

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
