The course is wide ranging and covers the three main disciplines of chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. Skills that students will develop include: - Demonstration of knowledge and understanding of scientific ideas, processes, techniques and procedures. - Application of knowledge and understanding of scientific ideas processes, techniques and procedures in theoretical and practical context, handling both qualitative and quantitative data. - Ability to analyse, interpret and evaluate scientific information, ideas and evidence, including judgements, conclusions, developing and refining practical design and procedures.

What you need to get on

Minimum of grade B in Core and B grade at GCSE in the chemistry component of Additional Science, or B grade in GCSE Chemistry. Grade B in Maths GCSE recommended.
