Are you considering a career in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Science? If the answer is yes then you should be considering studying Chemistry to at least AS level. For Medicine, Veterinary Medicine & Dentistry, all require A Level Chemistry.
What you need to get on
Grade 6+ in Maths. Strongly recommended that students have attained a grade 7 or better in GCSE Science subjects. For Double Award GCSE Science students grades 6 and 7 are required. For triple award students a grade 6 in Chemistry plus a grade 6 in one other science.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
