WHY STUDY CHEMISTRY? Chemistry makes an important contribution to the understanding of the materials used in everyday life and in the world about us. Physical chemistry deals with the relationships between energy and chemical reactions. Organic Chemistry is the study of carbon compounds. Inorganic chemistry is the study of other elements and compounds. Success in chemistry can leads to further studies and jobs in education, chemical engineering, medicine, pharmacy, forensics, dentistry and dietetics to name but a few. What you need to get on

Grade 6 in two GCSE sciences. Grade 5 in English or Maths. Please see the 6th Form page on the school website for entry requirements for all courses offered.
