What the college says
The course involves the study of organic and inorganic chemistry. It provides an excellent foundation of knowledge required to study any type of Chemistry at university and leads seamlessly from the ideas studied at GCSE. A level Chemistry lessons are diverse in their delivery and combine the study of theory with practical laboratory work. The course is linear and involves a set number of required practical tasks which students will be expected to apply their knowledge and understanding from in their exams. Assessment is through three terminal examinations which are 2 hours long.
What you need to get on
5 x GCSE's grade 9 -4 including Grade 5 in Combined Science, or a 5 in Chemistry and a 5 in higher tier Mathematics.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
