This opportunity is suitable for individuals exploring a new career route. We welcome CSCS operatives to progress from general site work to demolition-specific competence and a recognised CCDO pathway. It is an opportunity for entrants to start a new career in demolition within the Certificate of Competency of Demolition Operatives (CCDO) accreditation framework - the demolition equivalent of the construction CSCS scheme. There are only 60 course pathways available so applicants are encouraged to apply as it is on a first-come-first-served basis.

What you need to get on

Applicants must have achieved the Operative Health, Safety and Environment Test through CITB or NOCN, as confirmed by NDTG, before attending the training. The test costs approximately £25 and must be paid by the applicant. Applicants who already hold a valid or expiring Asbestos Awareness or Labourer qualification are not eligible, as this opportunity is intended for new entrants to the industry. Applicants must be able to understand, communicate and read in English for the course.
