The course has been mapped and designed to meet the National Occupational Standards for the installation of generally domestic sized photovoltaic systems that are currently available in the UK which are connected to a single phase, grid connected electrical supply under Engineering Recommendation G83/1.
What you need to get on
Learners must be 18+ Trainees should hold a Level 3 in Electrical Installations, along with BS 7671: 2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) and Inspection and Testing. Candidate may hold an older but equivalent qualification. Candidate may hold an ECS Gold Card (for domestic electrician), JIB Electrician (Not PAT tester only) or Approved Electrician Card.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
