This 1-day course provides a comprehensive overview of the main legislative and guidance documents, relative to the control of Legionnaire’s disease and the disinfection of water systems, as well as practical guidance on how to carry out a risk assessment of a cold and hot water system in a building and make recommendations to rectify the problems.

What you need to get on

Trainees must hold a recognised trade qualification in plumbing and heating. A working knowledge of central heating, hot and cold water systems is essential. As well as holding Water Regulations or Water Byelaws. The course is for experienced plumbing and heating operatives

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
