The Electricity for Plumbers training course is designed to help plumbers and heating engineers, who work on central heating electrical control systems, to work safely and comply with the appropriate standards. While not aiming to turn plumbers, gasfitters and heating engineers into electricians, this short course will give them the necessary skills and knowledge to maintain and repair modern gas appliances.
What you need to get on
The training/assessment course is targeting candidates who hold an ACS CCN1 certificate and a minimum of CEN1 certificate or an ACS aligned S/NVQ in Gas Service and Maintenance. Candidates must also have a good understanding and working knowledge of central heating systems.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
