What the college says

This course is ideal if you want practical joinery skills and a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification. You will learn to use hand tools and machinery safely read technical drawings and produce accurate joints and components. Training includes workshop safety and theory that helps you understand timber quality moisture and tool care. It is a strong starting point for work in joinery or progression to Level 3.

GCSEs in English and maths at grade 3 or above and an interest and ability to work in a joinery environment.
