Course Content YEAR 12 Component one: UK Politics In this component students will study democracy and participation, electoral systems, voting behaviour, the media and liberalism, conservatism and socialism. Component two: UK Government Students study the constitution, Parliament, Prime Minister and executive, relationships between government branches, the EU and nationalism. YEAR 13 Component three: The Politics of the USA In this component the students will study the US constitution and federalism, US congress, US presidency, US supreme court and civil rights, democracy and participation and comparative theories

What you need to get on

A grade 6 or above in English Language or English Literature.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
