A 2 year course, AS Level is taken at the end of Year 1 and the A Level sat at then of the two year course. Course Outline This specification has been tailor made to follow on from GCSE Chemistry. It will offer an advanced insight into chemical processes, experimentation and procedures. You will be involved in discussions, practical investigations and exercises to ensure that you are well prepared for your examinations. There is no coursework on this course. However, your performance during practical work will be assessed. The course itself is comprised of 3 main sections: • Physical chemistry. • Organic chemistry. • Inorganic chemistry.
