This course is ideal for you if you’re over 16 and would like to work in the hospitality and catering sector as a chef and you may have already undertaken a Level 2 Techinical Certificate in Cookery or Service for the hospitality industry. On this course you will cover modules about legal responsibilities and financial control in the professional kitchen as well as studying how to cook with stocks soups and sauces, fruit and vegatables, meat and offal, poultry, fish and shellfish, farinaceous dishes, desserts and puddings, pate products, cakes, biscuits and sponges and fermented dough products.
