This course is ideal for anyone working as a Learning Support Practitioner or looking to progress in that role. It provides a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills that can be applied in classrooms and learner support roles across primary, secondary and further education settings.

What you need to get on

You must be at least 19 years old with a minimum of four GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above, including English and maths, or Level 1 Functional Skills. A DBS check is required. You�ll also need at least one year of experience working in a school setting for 12+ hours per week, either employed or voluntary.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
