What the college says
This course is aimed at anyone already employed or seeking to gain employment in a school or college. It is also suitable for learners who have progressed from relevant courses, i.e. Health and Social Care, Level 2 Childcare, Sports Dept etc.
What you need to get on
You need to be at least 18 years of age to join this programme. You need to have a positive attitude towards supporting children in a school setting. There is a compulsory school practice component to the programme, so you will need to show you can work as part of a school team. You will need a clear Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check completed before the programme starts.
