This course will recognise and develop the skills of those who already work with children and young people within an educational setting. It will also provide a programme of study to gain a recognised qualification whether you already work within an educational setting or are someone who wishes to do so. You may be employed or volunteering as a teaching assistant, cover supervisor, bilingual support assistant, subject support assistant, special educational needs assistant or wish to become a volunteer teaching assistant within a school or college. On successful completion of this course students will be awarded the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Teaching Assistant).

What you need to get on

This course is only available to those aged 19 years and over. Completion of the Teaching Assistant and Early Years Educator - Fast Track to Level 3 11-week induction course and a satisfactory DBS check if you're not currently in employment within an early years or foundation stage classroom environment. Or you're already employed within a primary school, secondary school or college.
