This qualification is for students aged over 19 to study for a work-focused qualification at Level 3.
What you need to get on
You should be volunteering or working in a school (Foundation Stage, Key Stages 1-4) for a minimum of 12 hours per week. No specific qualifications are required, but your literacy and understanding of childcare will be assessed. You should have good IT skills - you will be able to access the College website and submit your assignments online. Normally, you will have completed a Level 2 qualification or have considerable experience of work within a school setting. DBS checks are required.
