This course is ideal for anyone looking to start a career as a sports coach for children. Developed in consultation with employers and mapped to professional standards, it equips you with the skills and behaviours needed to work in school and community settings.

What you need to get on

You�ll need 4 GCSEs at grade 3 (or equivalent), including English and/or maths. We also consider Level 1 sport qualifications with a Merit grade or above.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
