This course is aimed at those wanting to progress directly to employment, including self-employment, in sports coaching and development roles. It is also suitable for those wishing to progress to higher education (university), where learners would have the added advantage of using this qualification to obtain part-time employment while studying. The content of this course has been developed in discussion with employers and professional bodies so you can be certain that what you are going to learn will be directly transferable to employment in the sports industry, with specific focus on coaching and development. The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sports Coaching and Development is equivalent in size to three A Levels.

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
