This course contains an exciting range of units that focus on the practical delivery of sport. The two year course provides the equivalent of 2 A levels (Diploma) or 3 A Levels (Extended Diploma). The course includes a mixture of practical sessions and theory lessons. Taking the BTEC Sports Coaching and Development course is suitable for progression to university but also provides the vocational skills and experience to enter employment. This course specifically looks at developing sports skills in areas such as: Coaching, sports development and careers in the sports industry. You will be actively involved in sport and given the chance to experience a wide range of sporting activities in state-of-the-art facilities.
