What the college says
Students who are inquisitive about what goes on in society, those who are willing to interview people, carry out surveys and observe others in their natural setting are likely to enjoy sociology. Students must study the following core themes: 1) socialization, culture and identity and 2) social differentiation, power and stratification. Students learn to evaluate the sociological investigations of named researchers.
