You will study a new way of looking at the world and different theories which explain why society is as it is. We study families, education, beliefs, and crime and deviance in Britain today, and consider the different methods of conducting research. We learn about different political ideas and their impact on society.
What you need to get on
Five 9-5 grades in English and Maths plus 5 or above in English Language.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
