Students develop their written communication skills and their ability to frame a reasoned argument for or against a specific position. Why isn't education equal for all? What are the reasons for family diversity? How do Sociologists gather evidence? What are the causes of crime? Why are women shown differently from men in the media? Yes? Then this is the course for you! We will be learning about life in 21st century in Britain. What makes it all tick?

What you need to get on

You should have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 9-4 including English and Maths with grade 6 in English. If you have taken GCSE Sociology, you need to have gained a 5 grade or higher.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
