What the college says
Sociology is an academic discipline aimed at those students who wish to understand more about themselves, the people they know, the society they live in and other cultures and societies. Studying society will make students socially, culturally and politically aware, and capable of thinking critically about the world around them. Students always enjoy the subject. It is hard work but it is very stimulating and relevant to their own lives.

Five grade 5's at GCSE, including English (Langage or Literature)
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
