This interactive course will provide you with an engaging and effective introduction to Sociology. You will explore a range of key themes, including; socialisation, culture and identity, social differentiation and power and stratification, through studying many aspects of social life. You will develop skills valued by higher education (HE) and employers, including critical analysis, independent thinking and research.

What you need to get on

Entry into the Sixth Form requires six passes at GCSE Level (Grades 9-5) including English and at least a Grade 4 in Maths. This course requires Grade 5 in English.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
