Sociology is often defined as the ‘study of society, and of people and their behaviour’. Sociology is concerned with how we interact with, and are influenced by society. The course aims to provide a critical understanding of the diversity and application of concepts, theories and methods within Sociology. You will look at the society we live in and attempt to understand social and cultural issues that affect us all. Students must be aware that this is an essay based course
