Sociology is the systematic study of different social groups and institutions within society. Particular reference is made to the themes of socialisation, culture and identity; and social differentiation, power and stratification.

What you need to get on

In order to gain entry to The Boswells Sixth Form all students must achieve a minimum of 40 points from their best 8 GCSE subjects, including minimum grade 4 in English Language and Maths. You will need a minimum B/6 Grade at GCSE in any subject you wish to study at A Level. Subject Specific: Grade 6 in a Humanities subject if none grade 5 in English Language.
