What the college says
Sociology is a subject that equips students with a range of skills that will complement their other academic subjects. Students will learn to write academically, communicate effectively, interpret information, think critically and problem solve. These skills transfer well into the world of work or into further study. Sociologists go on to work in journalism, the law, public relations, human resources, market research and social and youth work.
