This is a dynamic and stimulating course, which will help you develop an appreciation of the importance and nature of sport and exercise. You will look at the human body and mind as it performs different sporting activities and look at the importance of sport in our society. The course is designed for those students who have a good sporting/dance ability and wish to pursue a sports related degree at university.

What you need to get on

6th Form entry: The overall entry requirements are: a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4, including a grade 9-4 in English. Subject specific entry: GCSE Grade 5 in PE or OCR Merit and competing in a club or sport outside of school

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
