Are you interested in discovering what makes an elite level sports person tick? From Sports Psychology to Sports Physiology and Biomechanics this course gives an incredibly varied look at how coaches and teachers can maximise elite performance and that of your own performance! As well as this, you will be led through Sports History in the UK and the structure of Sport in this country. You will need to have proven expertise in one sport of your choice, which is on the recognised list of sports from AQA (see specification).

What you need to get on

It is desirable if students achieve a grade 5-6 or above in GCSE PE or your Sciences. Please note that you do not necessarily have to have completed GCSE PE to enrol on this course

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
