The course consists of three parts, all related to the factors affecting participation in physical activity and sport: • Applied anatomy and physiology • Skill acquisition • Sport and society Students are also assessed as a performer or coach in the full-sided version of an activity of their choice.
What you need to get on
In order to secure a place in our sixth form for PE, a student is required to achieve the following grades: • At least a Grade 6 in GCSE PE in addition to good practical ability • At least a grade 5 in GCSE English Language or GCSE English Literature • At least a grade 5 in GCSE Mathematics • At least four additional grade 6 GCSEs or equivalent

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
