Students learn a broad range of photographic skills and techniques in both traditional and digital media, through workshop sessions and small projects. They are encouraged to develop their own style of working and will learn how to formally analyse and respond to the work of various photographers and artists. Starting with the fundamentals of darkroom photography, students will also learn how to use digital cameras and edit images in Photoshop.

What you need to get on

4 GCSEs, Grades 9-6, preferably including GCSE Art and/or GCSE Photography. Evidence of a portfolio of Photography is required.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
